Jana Ward, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC is a Central Arkansas native who holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization. She brings a diverse background in respiratory care, nursing, urgent care, and in-home healthcare to her work with patients.

Jana began her healthcare career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, earning her Bachelor of Science in Cardio-Respiratory Care from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2015. She started working at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Little Rock, where she gained valuable experience caring for patients with complex respiratory conditions.

Motivated to expand her role in patient care, Jana earned her Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2018. After graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, caring for critically ill newborns and their families.

Following her time in the NICU, Jana joined MedExpress Urgent Care, where she gained extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of urgent care conditions. While working there, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2022, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During this period, she also performed in-home health evaluations for Signify Health, delivering medical care directly to patients in their homes.

In 2023, Jana became a founding partner of Mobile Med Urgent Care, a practice designed to bring urgent care services directly to patients in the comfort of their home or office.

Building on this experience, Jana joined Premier Foot & Ankle in 2025, bringing her expertise to the treatment of foot and ankle conditions. She works closely with patients to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of concerns, emphasizing personalized care and patient education to help individuals maintain healthy, pain-free feet.

With her compassionate approach and clinical expertise, Jana helps patients regain mobility, manage chronic conditions, and stay active. Her dedication ensures that every patient feels supported and confident in their foot health.

Outside of work, Jana enjoys remodeling houses with her husband, playing pickleball, traveling with her husband, son, and daughter, and volunteering at her church.
