Edward Sharrer, DPM, is a highly-skilled, board-certified foot and ankle specialist at Premier Foot and Ankle Clinic in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Known for his compassion and dedication, Dr. Sharrer provides comprehensive lower extremity care to patients throughout the central Arkansas area.
Dr. Sharrer began his educational journey at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, before earning his medical degree from Barry University, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Miami Shores, Florida, in 1996. He went on to complete a foot and ankle surgical residency at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital-University Health Care Systems in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, honing the skills that would define his practice.
At the heart of Dr. Sharrer’s approach is one-on-one, customized care. He thrives on getting to know his patients personally and finds deep satisfaction in helping them restore and improve their lower extremity health. He believes in a holistic and practical, up-to-date approach to treating a wide range of conditions, including arthritis, injuries, diabetic neuropathy, and wounds. Dr. Sharrer is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Patient education is a cornerstone of his practice. Dr. Sharrer empowers patients to take an active role in maintaining their health, teaching them how to care for their feet and prevent future problems. He knows that the more a patient understands about their foot health, the better the outcomes—and the greater the chance of a lifetime of healthy, pain-free mobility.
Dr. Sharrer has been blessed to work closely with his wife, Judy, a registered nurse certified in wound care, at Premier Foot & Ankle. Outside the office, they enjoy the many outdoor activities Arkansas has to offer, especially bike riding and long walks along the Arkansas River. Above all, they cherish time spent with their seven children and three grandchildren, making family a central part of their lives.
